The first morning, we woke up and went to our first breakfast. We had a large menu of foods to choose from. After breakfast we went to the school to take a placement test. The exam was very difficult and it took two hours to finish. Later we spoke with the Mexican students. They take English classes during the summer in the same school. Afterwards, we took a tour in a bus and we walked around. We saw a lot of interesting things like the convent. After the tour and lunch we went to the garden and saw some folk dancers. Everyone walked around the garden to look for people to talk to, but we didn’t talk with many people. Finally, we slept in our beds.

You look like you took a two hour exam! Despite that, I wish I could be there too, but alas! I am taking a six-week course - in English. It is really great to read your blog. I look forward to this every morning, as I drink my caffe outside on our porch listening to the birds...we have a Baltimore oriole who comes daily, and we named him Cal. Ms. H.
